Terms of Use
Plain terms for a plain deal: the tools are free, you own what you write, and we are not your career counselor. Using the site means you accept the following.
1. The service is free and provided as-is
The ATS checker, resume builder, and example content are provided at no charge with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make the scoring sound and the examples accurate, but hiring decisions involve humans and systems we do not control.
2. No outcomes are promised
Nothing on this site is career advice or a guarantee of interviews, offers, or ATS passage. Scores describe how a resume is likely to be parsed and keyword-matched; they do not predict any employer’s decision. You are responsible for the truthfulness of the resumes you create — fabricating skills or history is your risk, not ours.
3. You own your content
Everything you type into the tools remains yours; we never receive it and claim nothing over it. Our example resumes are provided for you to adapt freely to your own experience — no attribution required, though submitting an example verbatim as your own would be unwise and, where the facts are not yours, dishonest.
4. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive volume, or misrepresent its output as a certification from any ATS vendor. The site is intended for individual job seekers; commercial redistribution of the tools as your own product is not permitted.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resume Tailor HQ is not liable for damages arising from the use of the tools or reliance on their output, including lost opportunities, however caused. If a court strikes any part of this section, the remainder stands.
6. Changes
These terms may change as the site evolves; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change accepts the new terms.
